Hotel Shevaroys started in the year 1971 by Shri. N. Ramaswamy Udayar, with just four rooms and a small restaurant to cater to the rare tourist of those days has today 77 rooms and 11 cottages. One small kitchen then has been expended over the years to three restaurants - Silver Oak, a multi - cuisine outlet, Red Dragon, a Chinese specialty outlet and Malar, a pure vegetarian outlet - and a full fledged Room Service department. Shevaroys Fitness Centre and Beauty Parlour is another facility in the premises.

The gymnasium is equipped with multi gym machine, tread mills, belly rollers, stepping machines and weight lifting sets. The Beauty Parlour with separate beauticians for gents and ladies offers beauty facial treatments, body massage, hairdressing, pedicure and manicure and many herbal beauty treatments and has a steam bath room and jacuzzi.
Hotel Shevaroys is continuously working towards developing world-class systems and a training culture to deliver customer delight by continuously raising the levels of customer satisfaction.

The Hotel has its own bakery and the products are also put for retail sale to customers in the Swathi's Bakery and Ice Cream Parlour. The Shevaroys Chaat Centre, adjoining the bakery counter, sells chaat food in the evenings. With the advent of the internet, the Browsing Centre with broad band connectivity was opened to cater to the needs of net surfers. Magic Mountain, a kids games center is one of the main entertainment place for the children who visit Shevaroys. Computer games, coin operated games machines, battery powered dashing cars and several joy rides are available to those who step in here.
